What deadlines are to be met?
Travel reservations should be made about 6 weeks before starting the journey in order
to be able to complete the necessary formalities smoothly.

Passport and copies of the first 2 pages.
Birth certificate or international extract from the register of birth.
In case of divorced or widowed: divorce or death certificate.
In case of minor: notarially certified agreement of legal guardian.
Hotel Kakslauttanen
The hotel is located in the magnificent Saariselkä Mountains near the Urho Kekkonen National Park. Rooms/Accommodation: The hotel has 25 log cabins of different standards with shower/WC,
seating area with open fireplace, small kitchenette and a private sauna. A special attraction is the main
restaurant, which is built out of very old pine trunks, where most of the meals are prepared in a large oven
in front of the guests. Activities: For a surcharge the following summer and winter activities are available: boat tours on
the Lemmenjoki River, fishing in the Inari Sea, dog or snowmobile safaris.
The more than 100 km long cross-country ski-tracks of Saariselkä all start directly
at the hotel, half of them are lit.
The hotel also organises trips to the nearby ski slopes.
