Hotel Metropole
This first class hotel is situated in the heart of the historical Venice and a short
walking distance from the San Marco Plaza. It is a hospitable, family run establishment
which resembles a museum of rare collector's items, such as old musical
instruments, traditional hand-fans, corkscrews and crucifixes.
Rooms/Facilities:
The 56 rooms, Junior Suites and Suites are furnished in traditional Venetian style.
All rooms have bath/shower and WC, hair-dryer, air-conditioning, direct dial telephone,
satellite TV, minibar and safe. Some rooms have a view overlooking the lagoon.
2 of the Junior Suites have a roof terrace. In the restaurant "Met", which is specialised in
Venetian cuisine, guests can get a taste of the best Italian wines and during the summer months
be served in the green inner courtyard.
